  • Spearhead change management communication on topics such as a new HR system launch, sunsetting the Okta Mobile app, location naming structure changes, THC policy changes, transition to weekly pay, and more.

  • Write for all HR and benefits communication needs, such as open enrollment, benefits promotion and education, period business updates, inclusion and diversity, the annual employee survey, and change management.

  • Ghost write emails and other communication for senior leaders. Develop relationships with those senior leaders to best represent them and their individual voices through my writing.

  • Act as editor of the Dot Link—Dot Foods' monthly companywide newsletter.

    • Spearheaded change management as the company navigated a UI transition with our internal employee app platform.​

    • Advocated to make the Dot App the forced homepage for all company computers to further engagement wired employees and foster a larger sense of community. Since this feature was turned on, viewership, clicks, and the average number of posts viewed per user has been on a steady increase month over month.

    • Increased employee app registration by 5% in 2022.

 

CORPORATE CONTENT WRITER, RECRUITMENT MARKETING

January 2019 – August 2021 

  • Collaborated with operations teams to develop proactive and reactive marketing and advertising strategies to recruit Class A CDL truck drivers and warehouse employees in 15 primary markets across North America.

  • Managed and maintained two profiles across five social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram.

  • Managed two careers-focused microsites and blogs.

  • Managed all social media paid advertising, including the relationship with our social media advertising vendor.

  • Assisted in the creation of digital marketing ads. 

  • Worked with my project manager, graphic designer, and an external agency to develop SEO/SEM strategies on our two microsite and their corresponding blogs. 

  • Led companywide internal communications platform adoption and acquisition strategies, as well as content strategy and development.

  • Follow AP Style, as well as the Dot Foods Editorial Style Guide, which I helped develop and created while I was an intern at Dot in 2017.

  • Key Accomplishment​s

    • Recruited to be part of COVID-19 crisis communication team. Prioritized audience needs and provided employees with best user experience possible in the development and launch of brand-new Dot Foods COVID-19 website in 72 hours. Pivoted content strategy based on website viewership trends, survey data, and feedback from employees.

    • Partnered with Dot Foods CEO to create new company vision, mission, and values, and update brand promise.

    • Co-created and strategized user experience, layout, and copy for new internal website. Developed content and videos to help educate Dot employees about our mission, vision, values, brand promise, and five-year strategic plan initiatives.

    • Collaborated with creative services manager to write copy for Dot Foods Brand Book—a future resource for employees regarding all elements of Dot’s brand, ranging from colors and fonts to email signatures and advertising guidelines.

    • Increased engagement on Drive for DTI Facebook page from 2.5% to 3.51% within first three months of employment

    • Marketed to eligible Class A CDL drivers and warehouse employees in 2021 hiring efforts, resulting in approximately 7,000 warehouse applications and 1,000 driver applications companywide through end of May 2021.

    • Drove content strategy for #MyDotStory campaign where we shared first-hand stories from Dot employees to enhance recruiting efforts. This series drove over 7,000 views on Dot Foods Careers YouTube channel and over 1,000 new pageviews on DotFoodsCareers.com with an average time spent on page over 4:30.
